Exhibition 30 Rear driver pannel

CARDIOiD control.

Vents on the rear of Exhibition 30 are tuned exits for the dual 12” mid-bass drivers, where a resistive material and internal path length is designed to reject unwanted rearward energy, and further improve the consistency of frequency response into the mid-bass region. This results in a loudspeaker behaviour that is kind to your ears on stage, and plays nicely with microphones and instrumentation.

CONSTANT DIRECTIVITY.

Like all Pitt & Giblin products, the high frequency driver is loaded into a highly optimised waveguide, but this time it’s rectangular expansion is optimised for audience coverage and extended bandwidth. A dual diaphragm compression driver is employed for the waveguide, which plays from an incredibly low 400Hz. It’s high sensitivity, and ultra low distortion is unlike any other point source sound tool, where the extension and control is best in class.

BUILT FOR SUBS.

Full-range extension at high output power in a performance environment is unrealistic, which is why Exhibition 30 is designed for use with subwoofers and optimised further by taking this into account. The dual 12” mid-bass drivers play to ~80Hz at rated power, which is enough to keep up with a handful of 18’s or 21’s on big amps. The active amplifier module features a processed subwoofer out, with full limiting, delay, and basic controls onboard.

for the passionate

Exhibition 30 distills our research and development in acoustics and our experimentation with sound systems over the years, combined with the more recent experience of manufacturing a high end loudspeaker product. The goal was to enable the best live performance possible in small to medium venues and clubs. This is for the passionate, the musician, the selector, the sound tech that’s in the moment, and the audience smiling back at them.

P&G Finish options

Shown in Tasmanian Oak Black Japan, Exhibition 30 is also available in the same range of veneers as the rest of the P&G range. The outer skin is constructed with the same 18mm void free birch plywood used throughout, with the addition of a pressed veneer. The cabinet is constructed using polyurethane expanding glue for moisture resistance and sealing, while the waveguide is manufactured using CNC profiled foam, and laminated with epoxy fibreglass to achieve the profile.
